Getting Started

Yes — every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. No credit card required. You can explore the full app, create quotes, and test everything before committing.

Most tradespeople are set up and sending their first quote within 10 minutes. When you register, a quick onboarding flow collects your business name, logo, and bank details so your documents are ready to go.

YourTradeQuotes works for any trade business — electricians, plumbers, builders, gas engineers, roofers, decorators, landscapers, joiners, heating engineers, groundworkers, HVAC, and general contractors. If your work involves quoting and invoicing, it works for you.

Yes. You can bulk import customers from a CSV file. We support standard column formats and can help with mapping if needed.

Features & Usage

Describe the job in plain English or by voice — for example, "bathroom refurb, strip out, new shower, tiling 20 square metres" — and the AI generates a full itemised line-item list with descriptions, units, quantities, and suggested rates. You can edit any item before sending.

When you send a quote, the customer receives a link. They can open it on any device, read through the full itemised quote, tap Accept, and draw their digital signature. Their name, signature image, and acceptance timestamp are stored against the quote. The moment they accept, a job is created and a deposit invoice is raised automatically.

Yes. You can add your logo, company details, bank details, and footer text. Quote and invoice documents are generated as professional A4 PDFs with your branding. Email templates for sending quotes, invoices, and follow-ups are also fully editable.

The app requires an internet connection for real-time sync. However, since it runs as a home-screen app on your phone, it loads quickly and caches frequently accessed data. For offline-heavy field work, you can add notes and photos which sync when you reconnect.

Integrations

Yes. Connect your QuickBooks account in Settings → Integrations. Invoices sync automatically when created or updated. You can also trigger manual syncs. All line items, VAT, and payment status are mapped correctly.

Yes. Xero integration works the same way as QuickBooks — connect once and invoices sync automatically. Supports VAT codes, payment recording, and customer matching.

Yes. YourTradeQuotes generates a WordPress plugin in Settings → Integrations. It supports Contact Form 7, Elementor Forms, WPForms, and Divi. When a visitor submits your contact form, the enquiry lands straight in your pipeline with a real-time alert.

Yes. On the Pro plan, you can send Stripe payment links directly to customers. When a quote is accepted, a deposit payment link is generated automatically. You can also add payment links to final invoices.

Support & Billing

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from Settings → Billing. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle. Upgrades are prorated.

Yes — cancel from your billing settings at any time. You keep access until the end of your current billing period. There are no cancellation fees.

Yes. Paying annually gives you 2 months free — equivalent to roughly 17% off. The annual price for Starter is £190/year (vs £228 monthly) and Pro is £290/year (vs £348 monthly).

All data is stored on Google Firebase, with encrypted storage and secure HTTPS connections. Data is isolated per account — no account can access another. We comply with GDPR and maintain a published Privacy Policy.

Mobile App

Yes — but not through the App Store. YourTradeQuotes runs as a Progressive Web App (PWA). On iPhone, open the site in Safari and tap "Add to Home Screen." On Android, open in Chrome and tap "Install App." You'll get a home screen icon and full-screen experience, identical to a native app.

Yes. The mobile experience includes everything available on desktop — enquiries, quotes, jobs, scheduling, photos, signatures, invoices, and reports. It's designed mobile-first, so every screen works well on a phone.
